It has been always in my mind that we are created in the image and likeness of the Lord, and I believe that. But recently, people are complaining about how the Lord hates them that’s why he made them that way, but in my opinion, we ARE in fact really created, then science played its part in moulding us.

People always envy other people who are better than them. I, myself , is always envious of piano prodigies. I always ask the Lord why he didn’t make me like those people. The answer came through my realization of a subject in management as Ethics. Individual ethics are personal ethics that we hold most dear. It’s usually affected by family, peers, life experiences, and situational factors.

In my opinion, yes, God did create us in his image and likeness, but of course, it has a part from the parents itself. If during 9 months, the mother is irresponsible, drinking beer, smoking, eating not the required food by the doctor, of course it will affect the child. then the mother will shout, why is the Lord doing this to her? it’s because of her own selfish desires that made her son like that. Don’t blame the Lord, he did his part already.

What really got me to write this is an episode in family guy where Meg has been reborn in the eyes of the Lord. In one part, when Meg brought Brian to the book burning that contradicts the bible,(books include the theory of evolution by Darwin) , Brian mentioned about how ugly Meg looks like, and how did she become the image and likeness of the Lord? Simple, Lois married Peter, which Meg got some characteristics. Which leads us to hereditary.

Heredity played a big part in this. The punnet square really did helped me to analyst who I am today. but it only explained around 5% of me, since there are other factors more, but of course, it really never did explain why my piano skills are not concert level, did it? that will lead to family influences. In my family, there has been really no one to inspire me to play the piano. My sister also hated it too as far as I can remember. Along side with a monster teacher, it really showed me a bad impression of what piano is. Sitting for one hour, learning about music theory (I didn’t know this term until recently), and hearing the sermon of the teacher wasn’t really that appealing. It’s a bit of serendipity for me that I stumbled upon a pianist(through youtube ) that will change my views on piano, but of course, I stopped playing for three to four years, and that’s a lot of time.

over the years, I’ve grown to appreciate who I am today. I learned to accept my God-given talents (which is a lot, I would say hahahah xD) and use them to help people around me. I hope that through this simple note, I opened your eyes to understand the Lord more and not to hastily judge him, for He is the almighty, which knows everything.

I don’t have the degree to discuss about the topic Human nature in a PhD level, but I will say this based on my point of view. We start with, “What is Human Nature?” From Wikipedia, “Human nature is the concept that there is on thing of characteristics, including ways of thinking, feeling and acting, that all ‘normal’ humans have in common.” In short, it’s what every humans think.

There are a lot of theories and ideas out there about this topic, but I would concentrate on British polymath philosopher Herbert Spencer. What did he say? based from Darwin’s “Natural Selection”, he made the popular phrase, “Survival of the Fittest”

This is direct to the point. The strongest is the one who shall remain alive in this world. At some point, yes, I do agree. Who wouldn’t? if the dinosaurs are stronger than the comet, they they would be here, wouldn’t they? Humans evolve. yes? Yes, that’s why old things must be removed. Technology advance in a fast paced where today it’s popular, and tomorrow it’s obsolete.

What does this have to do with my experience? I will talk about “Users”.

Who are the “Users”? The users are the one who basically “uses” you. He or she will use you for their own benefits. It’s not a win-win situation if that’s is what you’re thinking. Living in this world, there are a lot of those kind of people. They will bring you down so they can go up. It’s survival of the fittest.

If you’re not strong enough, then go back in your dream world. In reality, people will bring you down. There are no such thing as true friends. No one will sacrifice for you. In this generation, it’s me, me and me.

I just had my experience with this. A girl from my class.

I met her in college. she’s the lazy and user-type girl I know. exclude the charms, she doesn’t have one. She failed math class and I think only attended 30-45% of the whole lecture. Well, going to the point. PS: She only got a Pass in IT. (same as me LoL)

One day, she asked my Iranian friend about the imagine cup. It’s an annual(?) contest for the best programmers in the whole Australia chosen from different universities. Shocked that I was, I couldn’t get over she would apply. She really never talked to that guy, unless she needs something.

Another one. She suddenly became “too” friendly with me. I know she’s my friend, but she really never talked to me. it was night time, she began im-ing me. I am the one who usually initializes the conversation, but not in this one. In one part of the conversation, this is how it goes.

I would say that love has nothing to do with this though. A possible factor is probably envy, one of the deadly sins. I am the competitive type of person who always aim to be better. so probably hearing that made me furious. but seriously, if the person applying would be somebody I know programming genius, fine, I accept my defeat. well anyway, who am I to judge. I don’t know any better.

This is only a small part of the complex human nature. there are a lot of factors affecting a person’s attitude namely social norms and family background, but this is my defence on this kind of attitude.

The “User”. Beware of those kinds of people

For my first day was quite good.

I did 13 minutes of alternate jogging and walking.
I was already tired since I played Dance dance revolution an hour before and really got myself
into the game and groove on.

Day 1: Success!

Having bought skinny jeans sounds great, but with a low waist line of 36, that changes everything. BTW, I weigh 180 lbs and I am at 5′4 1/2 at height. Starting tomorrow, I would start jogging outside our place for around 30-60 minutes 3-4x a week. I would keep track of my time by updating it here in wordpress.

What inspired me to do this is because of an article I read in a salon. a guy whose a little bit shorter than shaq but wayyy fat. His life changed when he dedicated 3-4x a week running 70 minutes. Of course this includes diet. I already lost my fight with going to gym, and cutting down on chocolates, but that doesn’t mean I will not try. This is my hope.

For all those who has the same situation as me. feel free to do the same thing as me. JOGGING AND DIET.
This will change our lives for a better.

1) I am now starting another term in college (Different from University).  I actually love my current subjects which are as follows:
a) Business Statistics
b) Introduction to Management
c) Software Technology 1
d) Database Design
With this, I can now officially say I am closer to my dream of  becoming a game developer. I am now being equipped with the necessary skills to be one. JAVA is probably one of the things, and when I get to university, I will go to C++, which is the main thing in developing. Well, I will still apply for PR here, so I might take 3D graphics or something related to video game developing. Regarding work load, I will be heavily loaded, but still have time to play.

2) AFAIK, I actually only discovered my recent problem, I am a paranoid person(personality disorder). I don’t have medical certificate to prove I am one, but this is based on reading the descriptions, and is happening to me in the long run.

3) The girl I like really hurt me. She’s not saying anything, but as stated above, I am a paranoid person. She really doesn’t know how much I really love her, and how much I really care about her. I know it’s hard having her 22 years old, and I am 18, but I really do love her. She’s not pretty, but I can sense something different. Well, I made a deal with God and my other self that in Yahoo Messenger, MSN or any possible communication, I am only asking one thing, that she will ask “How was your day?”. That’s all I am asking. if not, then for now, I am currently disregarding any feelings I have.

BTW, what irony. While going to the next class today, after accompanying my friend for lunch, he stopped at the table of his friend. There is this girl, who is cute, but probably already in a relationship. She knows I do magic lol. so anyway, After a few minutes, she just asked me, “How’s your life?”. I was like, “Fun, ______” forgot what I said.

but reflecting to that, I told myself, “wasn’t that suppose to be someone’s line?”.
that got me thinking.

4) I am now currently practicing to be a card sharp. I have 8 videos by known card-sharp Jason England. (see opening credits of movie  “Shade”) I can now do 1 -2 false shuffles, and dealings from bottom and strike second, and the one-hand turnover swift also known as the macmillan switch.

5) BTW, for people watching my posts on “Dota Hero Items ___”, I will posting some more, as I played DotA in Australian Room in Garena from some time now (Version 6.63b). I will also be playing Diablo 2 on Battle.net, I just don’t know when. Oh well.

6) Regarding piano, I am done on my 1/5 pages for moonlight sonata 1st phase. It’s beginning to be slower due to the fact that I am practicing another song, Butterfly lovers, a chinese song introduced to me by the girl I like (see story above).
