One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e

English Title: One ~To the Radiant Season~

Another Erotic Visual Novel. I can’t say it’s better than Snow Sakura, but I like Snow Sakura better.

Since I played this a long time ago, I forgot the story line and have to search for a summary of this game.

From Wikipedia,

One’s story is about Kōhei Orihara, the main protagonist, thinking about this life would change with the current things that is happening. Due to this, he begins to stick in the eternal world, a world within his mind. The game’s main motif is a focus on the Eternal World, which is a world in this head.

Graphics: 7/10

I should stop comparing this to Snow Sakura. Anyway, the graphics are nice, not to shabby. But the settings are limited to your room, the living room, the school, the road, a forest, 3 hallways in school that are exactly the same, the rooftop and some others.

Sounds: 8/10

As far as I can remember, and after hearing the music mode in the game, it’s typical visual novel music, instrumentals. But it’s pretty good.

Gameplay: 8/10

Nothing new. Just choose the correct choices to get to the H-scenes. You can either go to a good or bad ending.

Story:

Summary – Look up

Characters: 9/10

Kōhei Orihara (折原 浩平 Orihara Kōhei) – Your main character. Like all protagonists, he won’t wake up by himself in the morning.

Mizuka Nagamori (長森 瑞佳 Nagamori Mizuka) – Your classmate and childhood friend. Typical Visual Novel, she wakes you up in the morning.

Rumi Nanase (七瀬 留美 Nanase Rumi) – Blue-haired transfer student. I think I got a fetish for blue-haired japanese girls. lol.

Misaki Kawana (川名 みさき Kawana Misaki) - An upperclassman who lost her eyesight. She likes to eat the curry in her school cafeteria.

Mio Kouzuki (上月 澪 Kōzuki Mio) – A mute upperclassman of kohei. She always carry a notebook with her when talking.

Mayu Shiina (椎名 繭 Shiina Mayu) – Mayu is a girl in junior high school who has a pet furret who died when kohei met her.

Akane Satomura (里村 茜 Satomura Akane) – A quiet long-haired blonde girl who appears in an empty lot almost everyday and barely talks.

Play Time: 8/10

I am not sure how long I played this game, because when the scene gets boring, I tend to click forwards, and thus, missing parts.

Overall: 8/10. Pretty Decent Visual Novel.
